橋本 1月12日開催「初心者さん歓迎！いけばな体験」レポート

はじめまして、CHASHITSUでインターンシップをしている遠藤です。
お正月気分も抜けてきた1月12日、CHASHITSUでは「いけばな体験」を開催しました⚘⚘
講師はいつもCHASHITSUを独創的なお花で彩ってくださっている、華道家の創勝さん（草月流師範）です。
参加者は、初体験の方から、前回も参加してくださった方、普段はフラワーアレンジメントをされている方まで、幅広い経験の方にご参加いただきました。
私も今回初めていけばなに挑戦！当日の様子をお伝えします。

今回使用した花材は【寒桜・雪柳・青文字・アイリス】の4種類。
【花ばさみ】や【丸水盤】【日月剣山】といった、いけばなならではの道具を使っていけていきます。
まず教えていただいたのは、いける際の軸。
草月流では「真（しん）・副（そえ）・控（ひかえ）」をいけるそうで、型に沿って花材を切り、いけていきます。
型をいけられたら、自分の感性でいけていきます！
皆さん、最初は慣れない道具の扱いや、あまりの自由さに戸惑われていましたが、目の前の花と向き合い、対話しながら黙々といけていらっしゃいました。
講師からアドバイスを頂きながら、完成を目指します。
完成後は、皆さんで鑑賞&撮影タイム～
皆さん同じ花材を使いましたが、それぞれの作品ごとに印象が異なり、個性あふれていました！

上手にできたか不安でしたが、自分がいけたと思うと愛着が湧いてきますね～
鑑賞タイムには「風を感じる〜」という感想を頂いて、なんだか自信がつきました！
「人間も個性的な方が面白い」と先生からも深いお言葉を頂きました。(メモメモ…✎)。
帰り道に花瓶を購入し、さっそくお花をいけなおしました。新たにいけなおす感覚で2度楽しめました～
蕾の状態で飾ったお花が少しずつ咲き始めていて、日々の変化を楽しんでいます❁
2024年早々、新たな趣味が見つかっちゃいましたね。
他の参加者の方も、いけばなが初めてだった方はもちろん、経験のある方も、自由に、気の向くまま、花とのふれあいを楽しんでいらっしゃいました～♪

来月2月10日（土）は、金継ぎ体験を開催！
簡易金継ぎですので、安全&数時間で仕上げることができます。

[Report] “Welcome Beginners! Ikebana Workshop” on January 12.
Hi, I’m Endo, an intern at CHASHITSU time.
On January 12, we hosted the “Ikebana Workshop for Beginners.”
The instructor was Sosho, an Ikebana artist and master of the Sogetsu school, who has always decorated CHASHITSU with his creative floral creations.
Participants ranged in experience from first-timers to those who had participated in previous classes, as well as those who often arrange flowers in the western style.
This was my first time trying Ikebana! Here is a report on how it went.

The 4 floral materials used this time were cold cherry blossoms, snow willow, aromatic litsea, and iris.
Ikebana is arranged using unique tools such as flower scissors, round water basin, and sun & moon-designed kenzan that securely holds the flowers.
The first thing we learned was the axis for arranging flowers.
In the Sogetsu school, the base flowers are arranged following the “Shin, Soe, and Hikae” style, with flowers cut and arranged according to the pattern.
Once the base flowers were set, we began to arrange the flowers according to our own sensibilities!
At first, everyone was a bit unsure of the unfamiliar tools and the freedom, but we engaged with the flowers in front of us, taking on the challenge.
With guidance from the instructor, we worked towards completing our creations.
Upon completion, it was time for everyone to have a look at and take pictures of the works!
Although everyone used the same flower materials, each piece had a distinct impression and was brimming with creativity!

Here is my creation. What do you think?
I wasn’t sure if I did well or not, but I feel a sense of fondness knowing I did it myself!
I received a comment, “I feel the wind,” which boosted my confidence!
The instructor also mentioned, “people are more interesting when they are unique✎.”
On the way home, I bought a vase and immediately rearranged the flowers.
It was twice as enjoyable as arranging ikebana anew!
The flowers that were once in bud are now starting to bloom, and I am relishing the daily changes❁
I believe I’ve found a new hobby early in 2024.
Other participants, whether new to ikebana or experienced, enjoyed freely interacting with the flowers at their own pace.

It’s a simple kintsugi (metal-joining), so it’s safe and can be completed in a few hours. Beginners are welcome, so please feel free to join us.
